How to book a mistake fare
  1. Book fast – most glitches are fixed within 1–3 hours.
  2. Don't call the airline to ask about the price.
  3. Wait until you get your e-ticket number before booking hotels, and only book ones with free cancellation.
  4. Pay by credit card for extra protection. In the UK, Section 75 can cover single items costing £100–£30,000, but bookings made through an agent or third party may not qualify – check with your card provider.
  5. The airline may cancel a mistake fare – usually you get a full refund.

Prices come from our latest fare data (it can be a few hours old) and change quickly. The final price and availability are confirmed by the airline or booking site. Steal That Fare does not sell tickets.
